This presentation focuses on the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba's academic assessment process and requirements for internationally trained engineer or geoscientists. The presentation includes the various options that maybe available to get a foreign acquired engineering or geoscientist credential recognized as well as the requirements to become a licensed Professional Engineer or Geoscientist in Manitoba.

Our Speaker:

Ray immigrated to Canada in 2010 and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the Philippines. Ray completed his Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Engineering under the Internationally Educated Engineer Qualification (IEEQ) Program at the University of Manitoba in 2013. IEEQ is the option Ray took for his academic assessment requirement with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.

 

Ray's work background includes education and training, project management of wireless telco infrastructure, quality assurance of manufacturing high voltage power transformers, and translations of core wireline network for the leading telco company in Manitoba. 

 

Ray has been a member and volunteer of the Filipino Members Chapter - Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba since 2011 and was Chapter Chair in 2018.
